Building a Lead
Sometimes, very rarely, your entire show is mapped out for you before you even walk in. It’s rare, but I knew going into this show that I would have a huge HFR and multiple other reporter stories that essentially meant I wouldn’t have to write anything. My goal then was to ensure I was closely working with all of my reporters to make sure that their stories were as touched up as possible. However, it also meant that the rundown had very little flexibility, and that it was crucial for me to do everything in my power to ensure that the show did not go heavy. I was able to do that, and this is the end result.
I wish I utilized the BAM more than I ultimately did, but I'm happy with the usage I did make of it.
